yeah i have no real explanation for why this is so late. time's been running past me lately (in a good and bad way)

this month i think i spent a lot of time trying to cultivate the vibes for jukebox. i haven't done much else since planning it in a frenzy and i have 3k on the doc but i'm nervous. i want to tell a cool story. most of the stuff here will probably reflect that??

i did work on my february wish! finally finished the 2nd book of the year (crooked kingdom by leigh bardugo, s/o to risa for that one post about favorite ships/tropes that led me down the kanej rabbit hole + remembering just why 2016 me felt so insanely strong about soc universe. i love my ragtag crew so much). my goodreads goal is 52 this year, i still have some hope that i can do it.

i sign up for these daily emails and they're little messages from the universe + i think this was sent on the day right before one of the best days i've had in a long time. which. thank you universe! happy coincidences!! it's spring, finally! i've been feeling so bright recently.

svt back in motion and it feels. so nice. nicer than i'd like to admit. they bring me an embarrassing amount of happiness. they've always been Good but recently they feel extremely so.

i love my friends a lot. i'm always grateful and i always feel like a horrible record cursed to do nothing but repeat myself silly but this month in particular i was struck with just how much i enjoy having you all in my life (yes, you here includes you!) sending you a cosmic hug. can you feel it? i love you!

winter quarter finished and it's now spring quarter and i just feel like i haven't had time to take a breather in a while. partially was my fault and because i had friends over and going back home to surprise my mom (which is a 6hr drive each way) so i'm trying my best to keep my head above water. so far it's working but i'm also looking forward to the finish line - or as close as i can get with the hell that is the quarter system. if you're reading this, i believe in you! we can do this!

binged a bunch of taemin before hoshi spider dropped to cultivate vibes and ended up really enjoying every song on his never gonna dance again: act 2 album. most especially this song with wendy, who also dropped like water and me, being a ballad bitch before i am a human, enjoyed it THOROUGHLY.

when this rain stops is probably my favorite but in my opinion the entire album is no skip.

a list of books on my overdrive shelf that i keep borrowing and never touching and borrowing again to start only to never finish, because i am truly horrible. i'm not really sure why i start so many books at the same time but my habit is that i get hooked, binge until i'm finished (which can take ~2-6hours, depending on the thickness) and then never read for the next 2-3 three weeks. trying to work on that too

tv/shows

1. run on (2020): it's been a while since i've loved a kdrama this hard. i really recommend it; rly strong female leads and lovely exploration of friendships + realistic character arcs/relationship developments. solidified the idea that slice of life n the mundane are some of my favorite themes to see displayed on the screen. dragged xia into it bc all i could see was snwu in seongyeom + mijoo <333
2. schitt's creek (2015-2021) this show is just genuinely so fun to me i love it so much i'm working through s3 rn, i'll watch it in between study sessions or while taking breaks for lunch
3. hospital playlist (2020): i just miss the cast n this universe a lot i want to rewatch so bad.

this month was really, really good for music. spotify algorithm did not fail me (playlist is now at 2K+ songs, from 1600 at end of feb) and kpop/western music kept coming out w/ fun releases so i was just! so happy! spring really is here! 10 honorable mentions/obsessions for english + korean albums:
